Why does my car jerk when i redline?

When i put the pedal to the metal when taking off from 0MPH, the car jerks back and forth. I had a blown gasket, took it to shop, got it "fixed", and here i am with this problem. The car runs fine as long as I don't try to max the accelerator. New oil change?? Any suggestions? What could have they possibly done wrong, if anyone on the web have any clue besides that "they toast your engine". Thanks for any help.
