Samsung Suround Sound?

So i was playing my Playstation 3 and my surround sound stopped working. I Have my PS3 connected to my TV with a HDMI cable and my TV connected to my surround sound by a digital audio output (the clear tube). The surround sound works with my cable box, but not my TV or PS3. This is the first time this has happend.
