Is it easy to get served in barcelona?

i am going to barcelona for a bit and a villa in the surrounding area this summer for a holiday and was wondering how easy it is to get served? there seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding the legal age etc. im not looking to go into any of the big clubs but maybe a few bars and stuff with my friend. i am 16 and look 16/17. let me know what the restrictions are and whether they are tight or not. thanks a lot!
